The Representative Council is a \u201cstudent parliament\u201d within SAMK. The Representative Council decides on the broad lines and operational resources. For example, SAMMAKKO\u2019s action plan and budget are approved annually by the Representative Council. The Representative Council annually elects the student body and the student representatives to SAMK\u2019s board, degree committee and study board.<\/p>\n
In these elections, all students of Satakunta University of Applied Sciences who have paid the membership fee of Student Union SAMMAKKO for the autumn semester 2022 or the academic year 2022\u20132023 are eligible (the next membership period expires for some members on September 30, 2022!). The membership must be paid before the end of the nomination process. Any SAMK degree student who has paid for SAMMAKKO’s membership can set up their own electoral list or stand for election. One election list can have 1-20 candidates.<\/p>\n

Election advertising used in elections must be tasteful and factual. Email lists provided by SAMK may not be used for election advertising.
