At SAMMAKKO, we decided to switch to a four-day work week on an experimental basis, encouraged by the example of the National Union of Students in Finnish Universities of Applied Sciences – SAMOK.
The trial period starts 15.5. and ends 30.9.2023. Working hours are monitored and the experiment can be interrupted if scheduling problems arise. The trial of a four-day work week affects only SAMMAKKO employees. The trustees therefore continue to work flexibly according to their own schedules.
The work done at SAMMAKKO is specialist work by nature. There are quite a few binding schedules at times, and everyone can significantly influence their own working methods and schedules.
