SAMMAKKO celebrates in October
A warm welcome to the Student Union SAMMAKKO’s 25+1 anniversary ceremony on October 8, 2022. The anniversary ceremony will be held in the Satakunta room of the Original Sokos Hotel Vaakuna (Gallen-Kallelankatu 7) in Pori, and the dress code is dark suit.
The price of the dinner card (95€) includes an appetizer, a three-course dinner, drinks and coffee+avec (cognag etc). In addition, please note that the ceremony room has drinking rights and you can buy yourself more refreshments during the evening.
Vujujen tarkoitus on juhlistaa organisaation olemassaoloa
The anniversity celebration, (Fin: vuosijuhlat = vujut) is an honourable academic table ceremony, which purpose is not only to thank partners for the past years, but also to celebrate the existence and purpose of the organization. At vujut, dress code must be followed. The more official part of vujut is usually placed at the beginning of the event, and the atmosphere will be more relaxed towards the end of the evening!
Silliaamiainen a.k.a. ‘herring breakfast’
The traditional Sillis is organized the day after the party, Sunday 9 October starting at 12 o’clock at Opiskelijatalo Saikku, at Antinkatu 7. Sillis offers snacks and drinks, as well as the possibility of a sauna. Despite its name, sillis offers more than just herring 😉 It is also allowed to bring your own drinks to Sillis. Sillis is included in the price of the dinner card.
