The 2022 elections of the Satakunta University of Applied Sciences Student Union Representative Council will be held from 06.09.-03.11.2021
- The nomination of candidates, ie the time when the lists can be announced for election, will be carried out on 06.09.2021 from 09:00 am to 04.10.2021 at 12:00 pm.
- The electronic advance voting will take place on 18 October 2021 from 9:00 am to 31 October 2021 at 12:00 pm.
The ballot box elections will take place on the following timetable:
- 01.11.2021 at 11:00 -14: 00 Art School Campus (Kankaanpää) and Kuninkainen Campus (Huittinen)
- 02.11.202 1 at 10:00 -15: 00 SAMK campus Pori and SAMK campus Rauma
- 03.11.2021 at 10:00 -15: 00 SAMK campus Pori and SAMK campus Rauma
In the election, 20 representatives are elected to the Student Union Representative Council, as well as 20 deputy members. All Satakunta University of Applied Sciences students who have paid the membership fee in the autumn of 2021 or the academic year 2021-2022 are eligible to stand for election. Membership must be paid before the end of the nomination (by 12 noon on October 4, 2021).
The election list establishment form and the candidate commitment form are available on SAMMAKKO’s website and at SAMMAKKO’s offices before the start of the candidate nomination. Election list establishment forms and candidate commitment forms must be returned to SAMMAKKO’s offices by the end of the nomination on 12 October 2021 at 12:00, scanned by e-mail to vaalit@sammakko.fi or using the e-form provided for that purpose.
All students of Satakunta University of Applied Sciences who have paid the membership fee in the autumn of 2021 or the academic year 2021-2022 are entitled to vote in these elections. The election is specified in more detail in the Student Union Management and Administration Regulations in Chapter 6 Elections.
Election advertising used in elections must be in good taste and appropriate. Email lists provided by SAMK may not be used for election advertising. No marketing shall be conducted at polling stations or in connection with the conduct of any other election.
In the election, the list of candidates can be seen at the beginning of the nomination at the student union office. Requests for amendments to the electoral roll must be submitted to the student union’s executive director during the election.
In elections, anyone entitled to vote may vote electronically in advance. If the person entitled to vote does not vote in advance, he or she is entitled to vote on the actual day of voting at any polling station.
